The E2E Program

What is E2E?

The E2E (End to End) Program aims to support the evolution of processes related to cold equipment, promoting access to the most successful and replicable practices for all Bottlers of the Coca-Cola Latam system. The material provides the knowledge necessary for the Cold Equipment Area to play a leading role in generating revenue and volume through routines, systems and metrics focused on the needs of our customers.

For this, several practices related to team management in the Coca-Cola system in several countries were investigated. These practices and materials were carefully analyzed by a team of experts, made up of bottlers, consultants and technical areas, and adapted to the reality of Latin America.

In constant evolution, the Program has undergone another update and in its 2022 version seeks to disseminate even more innovative practices to all bottlers, whether with operations more or less developed and regardless of their complexity.

The contents were discussed through an interactive methodology in the workshop where the Bottlers and the Coca-Cola Company validated and suggested materials as needed, evaluating the objectives together.

As a result of the project, we understand the mission and vision of the area responsible for the company's assets, with a commercial and value creation approach, which best represents the spirit, powers and responsibilities of the area.

Take advantage of the latest technological trends in BigData, connectivity and IoT, ensuring that the park of more than 100 CDE/10 K in 2025 has productivity around the world.

HOW THE DIAGNOSIS IS STRUCTURED

The main tool of the E2E Program is a methodology to diagnose the processes that are part of the strategy and operation of the Cold Equipment Area. The diagnosis aims to assess the bottling company's level of excellence and guide the next steps towards its evolution. To be a Certified Bottler it is necessary to obtain a minimum score of 70% in the diagnosis. The processes that make up the diagnosis are divided into 6 modules: Strategy, Acquisition, Control, Market, Maintenance and Disposal.

For each module, the items used for the evaluation of excellence in the operation are defined.

All modules are important and must be considered for good management. However, as all parts of the operation are only successful if they follow a consistent and integrated plan, the Strategy module is the most relevant. Control, Market and Maintenance are fundamental and balanced pillars in this context, followed by Acquisition and Disposal.

Each item has 5 different maturity levels that represent different score values. The level "Does not meet" means that the item does not meet the minimum requirements, "Partial" would be under development and "Complies" according to the proposed objective.

The “More Than Meets” and “Best Practice” levels represent special recognition for those who go above and beyond. To reach a level it is necessary that the requirements of the previous levels are fulfilled.

HOW DIAGNOSIS IS APPLIED

The E2E Program has an official calendar that includes 2 types of evaluations: one carried out by the Bottler himself and another carried out by the E2E Team. The first will have the help needed to understand compliance, evidence and guidelines for action plans for each item. The second modality, in turn, will generate the official results and evaluate each item formally seeking their respective evidence.

To consult the diagnostic results, the Bottler may use an Excel simulator. The objective is for the Bottler to simulate the necessary results per item to reach the level of excellence in the E2E Program.

Each Bottler must have an E2E Champion, a professional responsible for carrying out the diagnosis of the E2E Program, ensuring the commitment and participation of the Bottler as a whole.
